The Instructor

Meet Jason. A working septic professional first. An instructor second.

"Thank you so much for staying and helping my family out. You didn't have to but you stayed and your effort really helped us."

Background

Jason runs the company and the classroom.

Sure'Nuff Septic Services and Designs is a Bay City, Texas operation that does the actual work — installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting On-Site Sewage Facility systems across the region. Jason runs the company hands-on. The training side of the business grew out of years of being asked by other operators "how do you do that?" — and realizing the formal continuing education available locally didn't always reflect what the work looks like in the field.

So Sure'Nuff Septic Training was built to bridge that gap. The classroom is taught by someone who is, this week, also on a job site diagnosing a failed aerobic unit or talking a homeowner through a maintenance contract. That keeps the curriculum honest — the examples are recent, the regulations referenced are current, and the trade-offs explained are the same ones licensed operators are wrestling with this season.

Students consistently say the same things about working with Jason: he shows up when he says he will, he tells you what he honestly thinks rather than what generates the biggest invoice, and he's flexible when life happens. Those instincts carry from the service truck into the classroom.

Teaching Philosophy

Three things every class is built around.

01

The regulator's framework comes first.

The TCEQ is the body that licenses operators and approves curriculum. Every course traces back to 30 TAC Chapter 285 and the contact-hour requirements TCEQ publishes — so the credits you earn count where they need to count.

02

Field examples beat slide decks.

Every concept gets paired with a real system you'd encounter in southeast Texas — soil conditions, common failure modes, the homeowner conversations that go sideways. The goal is operators who can walk onto a site and know what to do.

03

Honest answers, not upsells.

If a question doesn't have a clean answer, we say so. If a piece of equipment isn't worth what it costs, we say so. That instinct shows up in customer reviews of the service business — and it shows up here too.

In Their Words

What people say about working with Jason.

"Very professional. He said he would be there the next day. His crew showed up, put a new float on pump. Works perfectly now. He could have said it needed a cleanout and charged me but he was honest about everything."

— Isaiah Garza

"Thank you for always being on hand to offer help. Your support has been nothing short of incredible, answering questions and being flexible with your time! Sure'Nuff Septic Service is the best around."

— RHonda Simpson
